I’m Darren, nice to meet you.

As a sufferer of Persistent Delusional Disorder I went through some major traumatic events in my life. I was sectioned twice once in 2018 the other in 2020. Now I am on medication which has kept me stable since then. I live in Southend-on-Sea and work as a SEO executive for a local company. After many episodes and relapses I finally began to re-build my life.

One of the hardest things I found was coping with the aftermath of my behaviour and having to accept that things were never going to be the same again. I found that when I was released from hospital, aside from my monthly injection I received little guidance or support for dealing with this new life. I had no one to talk to and felt very alone. I read some stories online of peoples experiences and then had the idea of building a website to collect & share peoples stories and what they’ve been through so that other sufferers could not feel like they were the only person who has gone through tough times.
